“Hear Me” (2025) is a heartwarming youth romance drama that serves as a Korean remake of the beloved 2009 Taiwanese film of the same name. The story follows Yong-jun, a recent college graduate who feels lost about his future and works part-time delivering lunch boxes. His life takes an unexpected turn when he delivers food to a swimming pool and encounters Yeo-reum, a vibrant young woman who communicates using sign language. Yong-jun instantly falls in love with her and begins learning sign language to bridge the gap between them, mistakenly believing she is deaf.

In reality, Yeo-reum is hearing-abled but devotes her entire life to supporting her younger sister, Ga-eul, a talented deaf swimmer training for the Deaflympics. As Yong-jun and Yeo-reum grow closer, their silent conversations become deeper and more meaningful than spoken words. However, the pressures of Ga-eul’s athletic career and Yeo-reum’s self-sacrificing nature create emotional hurdles, forcing the young couple to navigate the complexities of love, dreams, and family responsibilities.
