Bardaasht

Bardaasht is a gripping vigilante action-thriller that follows the life of Aditya Shrivastav (played by Bobby Deol), a former army officer who now runs a travel agency. Aditya’s life revolves around his younger brother, Anuj (played by Riteish Deshmukh), whom he loves dearly and has raised with strict discipline. However, tragedy strikes when Anuj goes missing, throwing Aditya’s world into absolute chaos.

Aditya’s desperate search leads him to a horrifying discovery: Anuj has been killed in an alleged police encounter. Refusing to believe the official police narrative that his brother was a drug runner, Aditya launches his own investigation. He uncovers a deep-seated web of corruption within the local police force, led by ruthless officers who stage fake encounters for personal gain and promotions.

Driven by grief and a thirst for justice, Aditya decides to take matters into his own hands. Aided by a sympathetic lawyer, Payal (played by Lara Dutta), he wages a relentless war against the corrupt system. The film explores themes of institutional corruption, brotherly love, and the limits of human endurance when pushed to the brink.
