Absolution

Absolution is a gritty action-thriller starring Liam Neeson as an aging mob enforcer who is diagnosed with a terminal brain illness causing progressive memory loss. Realizing his time is short and his mind is failing, he attempts to repair his fractured relationship with his estranged daughter and connect with his grandson. In his quest for redemption, he tries to save a young woman caught in the clutches of a human trafficking ring, hoping to undo some of the damage from his violent past.

However, his criminal associates and his ruthless crime boss, played by Ron Perlman, are not willing to let him walk away so easily. As his cognitive decline worsens, he must navigate a treacherous path of violence, betrayal, and fading memories. The film explores deep themes of guilt, legacy, and the desperate search for forgiveness before the darkness completely takes over.
