Chabak – Night of Murder and Romance is a tense South Korean psychological thriller directed by William Inhyuk Hyoung. The narrative follows Su-jin and her husband Sung-min, a seemingly blissful couple who decide to celebrate their wedding anniversary with a car-camping trip, locally known as ‘chabak.’ Seeking solitude and romance, they drive deep into a secluded mountainous forest, far away from the pressures of daily life.

However, their idyllic getaway swiftly spiraling into a nightmare as night falls. A ruthless, masked killer begins stalking their campsite, turning their peaceful retreat into a brutal game of survival. As the couple attempts to flee through the pitch-black woods, hidden secrets and unspoken betrayals from the past begin to surface, driving a wedge of suspicion and paranoia between husband and wife.

Featuring compelling performances by Danny Ahn and Kim Min-chae, the film masterfully blends romantic drama with heart-pounding slasher tension.
