STORYLINE
Get Him to the Greek is a hilarious comedy focusing on Aaron Green, an ambitious 24-year-old record company intern who is handed a career-making assignment. His mission is to fly to London and escort the legendary, wildly unpredictable British rock god Aldous Snow to Los Angeles’ world-famous Greek Theatre for a massive comeback concert. This gig is Aaron’s golden ticket to a real career, but he quickly realizes that managing the hedonistic rock star is a chaotic, non-stop nightmare.
As the duo travels from London to New York and finally to Las Vegas, Aaron is dragged into a whirlwind of debauchery, wild parties, and outrageous escapades orchestrated by the self-destructive Snow. Along the way, Aaron must navigate his own relationship troubles with his girlfriend Daphne while trying to keep Aldous sober enoughβand alive long enoughβto make the performance. The journey becomes a test of endurance, friendship, and survival as Aaron tries to outrun the madness of the music industry.
Directed by Nicholas Stoller and produced by Judd Apatow, the film features standout performances, including Sean Combs as the outrageous record executive Sergio Roma. Combining sharp, raunchy comedy with surprisingly heartfelt moments, the movie explores the hollow nature of fame and the redemptive power of music. The film’s soundtrack, performed by Russell Brand as the fictional band Infant Sorrow, adds an authentic rock-and-roll energy to this modern comedy classic.
