Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire expands the MonsterVerse by following the aftermath of the colossal showdown in Godzilla vs. Kong. As Monarch continues to monitor titan activity, a strange distress signal from deep within the unmapped realms of Hollow Earth disrupts the peace. Kong, while exploring the subterranean domain in search of his species, discovers a hidden tribe of giant apes enslaved by the tyrannical Skar King and his frozen weapon, the ancient ice titan Shimo.

To prevent Skar King from launching an invasion on the surface world and triggering a catastrophic ice age, Kong must forge an unlikely alliance with his former enemy, Godzilla.
