Hot Blooded

Set against the gritty backdrop of Kuam-dong, a neglected port town on the outskirts of Busan, Hot Blooded follows Hee-su, a veteran mid-level gangster who has spent decades running a rundown hotel and managing illegal operations for his boss. Exhausted by the endless cycle of underworld violence and ruthless power politics, Hee-su secretly dreams of walking away from crime to build a peaceful, legitimate life with the woman he loves and her son.

However, his aspirations for redemption are shattered when an aggressive rival syndicate launches a violent bid to control Kuam-dong’s lucrative contraband routes. As deceit spreads through his own organization and long-standing alliances deteriorate into bloodshed, Hee-su is dragged directly into the center of a deadly gang war. To protect those he cares about, he is forced to abandon his moral hesitation and embrace his darkest instincts.
