Lakadbaggha

Lakadbaggha follows Akshomyjit ‘Akshu’ D’Silva, an unassuming courier boy and animal lover living in Kolkata who secretly leads a double life as a masked vigilante. Dedicated to protecting street dogs and punishing animal abusers, Akshu relies on his training in Krav Maga taught by his late father. His crusade takes a dangerous turn when he uncovers a massive illegal animal smuggling racket operating beneath the city’s surface.

As Akshu digs deeper into the syndicate, he discovers the illegal trade of an endangered striped hyena (Lakadbaggha). Meanwhile, a tenacious Crime Branch officer, Akshara D’Souza, is assigned to track down the mysterious vigilante taking the law into his own hands. At the same time, the ruthless ringleader behind the wildlife trafficking operation, Aryan, resolves to eliminate anyone interfering with his multi-million dollar business.

Directed by Victor Mukherjee and starring Anshuman Jha, Riddhi Dogra, and Milind Soman, Lakadbaggha delivers realistic hand-to-hand combat while shedding light on illegal wildlife trafficking and animal rights in India.
