Masters of the Universe

Masters of the Universe (2026) is a live-action epic fantasy action-adventure film based on the legendary Mattel franchise. The story follows 10-year-old Prince Adam, who crash-lands on Earth in a spaceship and becomes separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home planet of Eternia. After spending two decades searching for it, an adult Adam finally locates the sword and is transported back across space to find his realm under siege by the tyrannical warlord Skeletor.

To defeat Skeletor and save his people, Adam must unlock the secrets of his origins and embrace his true identity as He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. Joined by loyal allies such as Teela and the heroic defenders of Eternia, he embarks on an all-out war to protect Castle Grayskull and restore peace to the cosmos.

Directed by Travis Knight with a screenplay by Chris Butler, this long-awaited reboot brings the iconic 1980s characters to modern audiences. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films, the movie features an ensemble cast including Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam / He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Jared Leto as Skeletor.
