STORYLINE
Naan Sirithal revolves around Gandhi, a young man working in the IT sector who suffers from a rare neurological condition known as Pseudobulbar Affect. This peculiar disorder causes him to burst into uncontrollable laughter whenever he experiences intense emotions such as fear, anger, or extreme sadness. While his family and close friends understand his condition, his involuntary laughter constantly draws him into strange and embarrassing situations in everyday life.
His life takes an unpredictable turn when he accidentally crosses paths with a dangerous underworld mobster named Dilli and an opposing gang leader. During high-stakes and life-threatening encounters, Gandhi’s sudden laughing fits are misconstrued as supreme arrogance and mocking disrespect, triggering severe outrage among the criminals. As the gangsters seek revenge, Gandhi must navigate through chaotic misunderstandings while simultaneously trying to manage his love life with his girlfriend Ankitha.
As the conflict between the rival gangs reaches a climax, Gandhi relies on his quick wits and unpredictable condition to survive the mayhem. The film delivers a engaging blend of slapstick humor, witty dialogue, and situational comedy as the protagonist turns a medical disadvantage into an unexpected weapon against ruthless criminals.
