Nashibvaan

Nashibvaan centers on the life of Baban, a humble municipal sanitation worker who struggles daily to make ends meet for his family in an urban slum. Facing relentless financial burdens, societal disdain, and the pressure of fulfilling his family’s basic needs, Baban leads a quiet life of quiet desperation. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he accidentally stumbles upon a massive hidden stash of illegal black money buried within an abandoned building during one of his routine sweeping assignments.

The sudden influx of unearned wealth initially feels like a godsend, allowing Baban to indulge in luxuries he previously could only dream of and elevate his social status among his peers. Yet, the money quickly becomes a heavy psychological cross to bear. Secrecy, fear of getting caught by law enforcement, and growing suspicion among his family and neighbors begin to consume his daily existence, tearing apart the peaceful simplicity he once possessed.
