Officer Black Belt

Officer Black Belt follows Lee Jung-do, an ordinary young man with an extraordinary talent for martial arts, holding a combined 9-dan rank in Taekwondo, Judo, and Kendo. Jung-do spends most of his days delivering food for his father’s chicken restaurant and hanging out with his close friends playing video games. His casual life takes a dramatic turn when he intervenes to save a martial arts officer who is being violently attacked by a offender wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.

Recognizing Jung-do’s formidable physical skills and heroic reaction, probation officer Kim Seon-min recruits him to serve as a temporary Martial Arts Officer. In this specialized role, Jung-do works closely with probation officers to monitor high-risk violent offenders, enforce electronic tracking mandates, and prevent re-offenses in high-stakes, real-time situations across the city.

As Jung-do transitions into his new post, he faces increasingly dangerous criminals, including a ruthless ring involved in child exploitation and organized crime. Through hard-hitting combat and a growing partnership with Seon-min, Jung-do transforms from a fun-seeking youth into a dedicated public servant, realizing that his unique skill set can genuinely protect innocent lives and uphold justice.
