Pokémon Detective Pikachu

In the bustling metropolis of Ryme City, humans and Pokémon coexist in harmony under a vision established by visionary Howard Clifford. The story follows Tim Goodman, a young man who travels to the city after learning about the mysterious death of his estranged father, veteran detective Harry Goodman. Upon entering his father’s apartment, Tim encounters a unique, coffee-loving Pikachu who can speak, though Tim is inexplicably the only human who can understand him. Discovering that this Pikachu was Harry’s former partner and now suffers from amnesia, the duo reluctantly teams up to uncover the truth behind Harry’s disappearance.

Their investigation leads them deep into the neon-lit streets and underground arenas of Ryme City, aided by an ambitious junior reporter named Lucy Stevens and her partner Psyduck. Together, they uncover a sinister conspiracy involving a chemical substance called ‘R’ that induces uncontrollable rage in Pokémon. As they piece together the clues, they realize the conspiracy goes far deeper than a simple missing person case, involving the legendary genetically engineered Pokémon, Mewtwo.

In a thrilling climax, Tim and Detective Pikachu must confront the mastermind behind the plot to merge human consciousness with Pokémon.
