Primitive War (2025) – Story, Cast, Action & War

Set during the height of the Vietnam War in 1968, Primitive War follows ‘Vulture Squad’, an elite military search-and-rescue team deployed deep into an isolated, lethal jungle zone. Their primary objective is to locate an isolated Green Beret platoon that ceased all radio communications under strange circumstances. Upon arrival, the squad finds abandoned camps covered in bloody chaos, uncovering harrowing evidence that the missing troops were not killed by enemy forces, but by something ancient and far more terrifying.

As the reconnaissance unit penetrates deeper into the uncharted valley, they discover that the region serves as an isolated habitat populated by living prehistoric predators, including lethal raptors and massive carnivores. Cut off from air support and surrounded by hungry apex predators, the soldiers are forced to adapt their combat tactics to survive an unnatural nightmare.

Directed by Luke Sparke and adapted from Ethan Pettus’s popular sci-fi novel series, Primitive War combines intense military gunfights with visceral creature-feature horror. The film delivers brutal action, high-stakes suspense, and a battle for survival where modern warfare meets prehistoric terror.
