Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales, who struggles to balance his personal life with the expectations of his parents. After being bitten by a genetically modified spider in an abandoned subway station, Miles develops extraordinary spider-like abilities. His life takes a dramatic turn when he witnesses the death of his universe’s Peter Parker at the hands of the ruthless crime lord Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin. Fisk has constructed a massive super-collider to access parallel dimensions in a desperate bid to bring back his deceased family, threatening the fabric of reality itself.

Before his demise, Peter Parker entrusts Miles with a USB drive designed to shut down the collider. Miles soon discovers he is not alone when he encounters an older, disillusioned Peter B. Parker from another dimension. Reluctantly, this veteran hero agrees to train Miles. They are quickly joined by other displaced Spider-heroes from diverse realities, including Gwen Stacy (Spider-Woman), the hard-boiled Spider-Man Noir, anime pilot Peni Parker with her SP//dr mech, and the cartoonish Spider-Ham. Together, this eclectic team must find a way to work together, stop Kingpin’s machine, and return to their respective home dimensions before they disintegrate.

As the final battle approaches, Miles struggles to master his unique powers, leading the other heroes to leave him behind for his own safety. However, after a powerful heart-to-heart with his father and embracing his own identity, Miles finally unlocks his full potential, including his signature invisibility and venom strike. Donning his own custom black-and-red suit, Miles joins the fray, helps his allies defeat Kingpin’s forces, and successfully sends them home. Ultimately, Miles embraces his destiny, standing proud as Brooklyn’s one and only Spider-Man.
