The Angry Birds Movie

Set on Bird Island, an island paradise populated entirely by happy, flightless birds, the story follows Red, a temperamental cardinal with a history of anger issues. After an outburst at a hatchling’s birthday party, Red is sentenced to anger management classes, where he meets fellow outcasts Chuck, a hyperactive yellow bird, and Bomb, a gentle giant prone to literal explosions. Their peaceful lives are disrupted when a boatload of green pigs, led by the charismatic Leonard, arrives on their shores claiming to be peaceful explorers.

While the rest of the naive bird community welcomes the pigs with open arms, Red remains highly suspicious of their true motives. Alongside Chuck and Bomb, Red attempts to find the legendary Mighty Eagle, the island’s protector, to help them uncover the pigs’ secrets. They soon discover that the pigs have stolen all of the birds’ precious eggs to feast upon them back on Piggy Island.

Realizing Red was right all along, the birds appoint him as their leader. Red rallies the community, urging them to let loose their inner anger to launch an all-out assault on Piggy Island. Using a giant slingshot, the birds launch themselves into the pigs’ fortress, leading to a chaotic and explosive battle to rescue their unborn children and restore peace to Bird Island.
