The Crow (2024) is a modern reimagining of the classic graphic novel by James O’Barr, directed by Rupert Sanders. The story follows Eric Draven (played by Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (played by FKA Twigs), two damaged souls who find solace and deep love in each other. However, their peaceful sanctuary is shattered when figures from Shelly’s dark past, led by the ruthless and immortal Vincent Roeg (Danny Huston), track them down and brutally murder them both.

In the purgatorial afterlife, Eric is given a chance to save Shelly’s soul by sacrificing his own. Granted supernatural abilities and near-invulnerability, he returns to the mortal world as an undead vigilante. Driven by pure grief and rage, Eric embarks on a relentless, violent crusade through the criminal underworld to hunt down those responsible for their deaths, ultimately confronting the dark forces that stole his future.
