Directed by René Perez, Cry Havoc (2020) is a gritty indie action-horror thriller starring Richard Tyson, Robert Bronzi, and Emily Sweet. The story centers on Ellen, an ambitious investigative journalist who receives an exclusive invitation to interview a secretive, wealthy mastermind known as the Voyeur. Operating out of a remote, off-grid estate, the Voyeur controls a masked, hulking brute known as Havoc—an unstoppable killer who slaughters targets on camera for the amusement of ultra-rich live-stream subscribers.

Upon her arrival, Ellen discovers that the interview was merely a pretext to make her the next victim in Havoc’s bloody arena. Cast into a dense, inescapable forest, she must run for her life while avoiding the axe-wielding monster. Meanwhile, a rogue mercenary armed with heavy weaponry infiltrates the compound on a personal mission to dismantle the Voyeur’s lucrative snuff empire and rescue anyone trapped inside.

Combining classic 1980s slasher elements with modern shock action, the film delivers relentless practical gore and tense survival sequences. As Ellen and the mercenary fight back against impossible odds, Cry Havoc builds toward an explosive climax of bloody vengeance and violent resolution.
