Operation Undead

Set against the backdrop of World War II in 1941 Chumphon Province, Thailand, ‘Operation Undead’ follows the harrowing journey of two brothers, Mok and Mek, who are caught in the crossfire of a deadly conflict. Mok is a rebellious young conscript, while his older brother Mek is a dutiful officer in the Thai army. When the Japanese military invades, they bring with them a horrific biological weapon—a virus that transforms those infected into highly aggressive, intelligent undead soldiers. As the infection rapidly spreads through the ranks, the traditional lines of war blur into a desperate struggle for survival.

As the brothers fight to stay alive, they must confront not only the monstrous infected but also the moral decay brought about by the military’s desperate measures. The film masterfully blends historical war drama with intense zombie horror, exploring themes of brotherhood, duty, and humanity under extreme duress.
