Brave Citizen

Brave Citizen follows the story of So Si-man, a former competitive boxing champion who gives up her athletic aspirations to secure a stable career as a high school teacher. To protect her job and secure a permanent contract, she forces herself to turn a blind eye to the rampant bullying and systemic injustice occurring within the school. However, her patience is pushed to its absolute limit by Han Su-gang, a ruthless and privileged student who terrorizes both his peers and the faculty with complete impunity.

Unable to tolerate the cruelty any longer, Si-man adopts a secret identity, donning a cat mask to deliver vigilante justice and teach the bullies a lesson. What follows is an action-packed, emotionally charged battle as she balances her quiet daytime persona with her fierce nighttime alter-ego. The film masterfully blends high-stakes martial arts choreography with sharp social commentary on school violence and institutional corruption.
