Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the fifth film in the Avengers franchise, succeeding Avengers: Endgame (2019), and the 39th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film features the highly anticipated return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU, portraying the iconic villain Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom.

The narrative of Avengers: Doomsday marks a major shift in the Multiverse Saga, pivoting from the previously planned Kang the Conqueror storyline. The plot centers on the catastrophic threat posed by Doctor Doom as he attempts to reshape the multiverse according to his own dark vision. Earth’s mightiest heroes, including members of the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and other cosmic allies, must unite across dimensions to prevent the total collapse of reality, setting the stage for the cataclysmic events of Avengers: Secret Wars.

As one of the most anticipated cinematic events of the decade, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide in May 2026. It will be available in multiple formats, including IMAX, and will feature extensive multi-language dubs across global markets, particularly in India, where it will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
