Batman Begins

Driven by the childhood trauma of witnessing his parents’ murder, billionaire heir Bruce Wayne spends years traveling the world to understand the criminal mind. His search leads him to the Himalayas, where he is trained by Henri Ducard and the mysterious League of Shadows led by Ra’s al Ghul. Bruce masters martial arts and stealth, learning to transform his deepest fear of bats into a powerful weapon against injustice.

Upon learning that the League of Shadows intends to utterly destroy Gotham City to eradicate its deep corruption, Bruce rejects their deadly methods and returns home. Back in Gotham, he establishes a vigilante identity with the assistance of his loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth and tech genius Lucius Fox. Utilizing advanced military prototype technology from Wayne Enterprises, Bruce becomes Batman, striking fear into the city’s criminal underworld.

As Batman, Bruce allies with uncorrupted police officer Jim Gordon and Assistant District Attorney Rachel Dawes. He soon uncovers a sinister plot involving corrupt psychiatrist Dr. Jonathan Crane, known as the Scarecrow, who plans to unleash a fear-inducing toxin into Gotham’s water supply. Bruce must race against time to prevent the total collapse of his city.
