Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is an original anime feature film continuing the beloved dark fantasy story based on Yūki Tabata’s popular manga. The narrative focuses on Asta, a young boy born without magic in a world where magical ability dictates social status and power. Despite this insurmountable obstacle, Asta strives to overcome his limitations and become the Wizard King. The Clover Kingdom faces an apocalyptic crisis when Conrad Leto, the 27th Wizard King who was previously sealed away for rebelling against the kingdom’s ruling class, resurfaces wielding the legendary Imperial Sword Elsdoc.

To enact his radical plan of destroying the current society and recreating one where equality reigns, Conrad resurrects three former feared Wizard Kings: Edward Avalaché, Princia Funnybunny, and Jester Garandros. Launching a full-scale assault during the Triumph festival, these four resurrected leaders outmatch the current Magic Knights captains. Asta, Yuno, and the Black Bulls must push past their absolute limits to counter this formidable threat, relying on Asta’s unique anti-magic powers and unbreakable resolve to save the kingdom.
