Novocaine (2025) is an action-packed comedy thriller directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. The story centers on Nathan Caine (played by Jack Quaid), an unassuming and sheltered corporate executive assistant who suffers from a rare genetic condition known as CIPA (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis). Due to his inability to feel physical pain, Nathan has spent his entire life living under extreme caution, carefully avoiding any potential injuries or hazardous situations.

His routine life is thrown into complete chaos when his workplace is taken hostage by a gang of ruthless bank robbers who kidnap his romantic interest. Pushed to the brink, Nathan realizes that his unique medical condition can be turned into an unconventional superpower. Immune to physical torment, he embarks on a violent, high-stakes rescue mission to defeat the heavily armed criminals and save the girl.
