Spider-Man 3 (2007) – Story, Cast, Action & Ending

Peter Parker has finally found a balance between his devotion to Mary Jane Watson and his duties as Spider-Man. However, a dark cloud looms on the horizon when an extraterrestrial symbiote attaches itself to Peter’s suit, turning it black and amplifying his anger, pride, and darker impulses. At the same time, escaped convict Flint Marko falls into a particle accelerator and mutates into the Sandman, a near-indestructible threat linked to the death of Peter’s Uncle Ben. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn, seeking vengeance for his father’s death, adopts the mantle of the New Goblin to destroy Peter.

As Peter struggles with the corrupting influence of the alien symbiote, his relationships begin to crumble, particularly with Mary Jane and his close friend Harry. After realizing the suit’s malevolent nature, Peter manages to free himself from its grasp, only for the symbiote to find a new host in Eddie Brock, a rival photographer with a deep-seated grudge against Parker. Brock transforms into the monstrous Venom, teaming up with Sandman to kidnap Mary Jane and lure Spider-Man into a final, deadly confrontation.

In a climactic battle atop a construction site, Spider-Man must join forces with a redeemed Harry Osborn to save Mary Jane and defeat the combined forces of Venom and Sandman. The battle demands ultimate sacrifices, leading to Harry’s tragic death and Peter’s realization of the heavy toll of vengeance. Ultimately, Peter forgives Marko, who dissipates peacefully, and Peter begins the slow process of rebuilding his fractured relationship with Mary Jane.
