The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Peter Parker continues to navigate the complexities of his dual identity as a high school graduate and New York City’s heroic protector, Spider-Man. While he delights in swinging between skyscrapers and defending the city, Peter remains haunted by the deathbed promise he made to Gwen Stacy’s father: to keep Gwen safe by staying away from her. Despite his deep love for Gwen, the burden of his superhero responsibilities constantly threatens their relationship and personal safety.

Everything changes when a timid Oscorp electrical engineer named Max Dillon suffers a horrific industrial accident involving genetically modified electric eels. Transformed into the living energy generator Electro, Dillon’s former idolization of Spider-Man turns into intense resentment after a public misunderstanding in Times Square. Meanwhile, Peter’s long-lost childhood friend Harry Osborn returns to New York to inherit Oscorp following the death of his father, Norman Osborn. Suffering from a terminal genetic illness, Harry grows desperate for a cure.

Believing Spider-Man’s blood holds the key to his survival, Harry becomes enraged when Peter refuses out of fear for Harry’s life. Forming a dangerous alliance with Electro, Harry equips himself with experimental Oscorp armor and weaponry, adopting the mantle of the Green Goblin. Spider-Man is forced to face both powerful villains in an explosive confrontation that uncovers deep secrets about his father’s past work and leads to devastating personal consequences.
